Our Mission

The inspiration for CalebFitness was Caleb who was one of the twelve tribal leaders sent by Moses to survey the Promised Land to establish what it was like and report back.

Out of the twelve, only Caleb and Joshua were positive about their ability, with the Lord’s help, to conquer the land.

God was so cross with the ten other leaders that He sent all the people back into the desert for 40 years so that generation would die out.

When the people arrived at the Jordan for a second time, 40 years later, of that generation only Caleb and Joshua survived. Indeed, Caleb at 85 was a strong as he was at 45 (Joshua 14:10-11).

The aim is for men to be modern day Calebs and be strong mentally, physically and spiritually.

 

Physically – doing a fitness routine devised and led by a Level 3 qualified PT in his 70’s.

 

Mentally – by being a community of men that encourage, support and pray for each other.​

 

Spiritually – led by a lay preacher who leads the group through a short passage of the Bible.
